CWM is a charity and home to a vibrant team who all love Jesus. We come from across the breadth of the Church and the nation. As a team we meet twice a week to pray via zoom and monthly for the Big PUSH (everyone welcome). We also help to lead and host the Prayer Cabinet alongside other Church Leaders from our region.
We provide prayer and prophecy training locally, and across the nation. Contact us if you want to know more or if you would like any of the team to come and speak at your Church or Conference.

PRAYER CABINET
Our journey so far:
As we in the Prayer Cabinet Team celebrate our 2nd anniversary, it’s been great to look back and thank God for all that has been achieved in a short time.
The Vision

To mobilise strategic, powerful and effective prayer for the transformation and protection of the Mersey Region and beyond.

Quickly mobilise prayer and action if needed in emergency situations.

Encourage and support Leaders in the Church, Ministry and Workplace.

See relationships strengthened and developed between Leaders and intercessors.
Our priorities have been to:

Welcome the King of glory to move in our region as we develop unity through worshipping and praying together.

Pray for the protection of our region and quickly mobilise effective prayer in response to any emergency situations where there is a risk to life.

To see the spiritual atmosphere transformed and people throughout our region encountering Jesus’ love.
So far, we have:

Encouraged prayer walking and led prayer walks in Liverpool and Southport.

Provided Prayer Training @ CLC

Hosted Watchmen, Gatekeepers and Intercessors training @ Bethel, CLC and in Birmingham.

Provided Prayer Diaries.

Where are we up to now?
Dave Connolly feels it is right for a season to focus on praying for Revival and has stepped away from the Prayer Cabinet to do that. We pray that this is a time of great blessing and fruitfulness for Dave and Julie.
To make room for this in the region, we have paused the Prayer Cabinet gatherings until 21st Jan 2026 when we will connect with “Turn the Battle” three days of Prayer and Fasting for the nation. We will communicate more information about this soon but please make this a priority in your diary.
Our Leadership Team is continuing to meet, pray and plan for the year ahead.

UK PROTECTION PRAYER STRATEGY
With the recent and horrific developments in the Middle East and Southport we believe it is both urgent and important that we raise an effective prayer shield of protection over our nations once again. In recent years we have experienced the dreadful trauma and shock of terrorist attacks so we want to do all we can to prevent this happening again.
PLEASE CAN YOU PRAY AT HOME, IN YOUR CHURCH OR IN GROUPS – Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you as you pray. Keep an eye on the news and respond in prayer.
The current security threat level to SUBSTANTIAL. This means that our government and security forces think an attack is likely. Therefore, it is essential that we as the Church respond to this wake-up call and position ourselves to pray strategically and effectively across our nation. We never charge for our ministry so that anyone can receive or attend our events.
